Day 1 Itinerary:
Day 1 Itinerary: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: First pick-up point: Indian Museum Main Gate, near Park Street Metro. Reporting time: 8:00 AM Departure time: 8:30 AM
Second pick-up point: P.C. Chandra Garden Gate No.1, Science City. Reporting time: 8:30 AM Departure time: 9:00 AM
Departure in an AC vehicle for a three-and-a-half-hour drive to Godhkhali with a breakfast tea break along the way.
Arrival:
Arrive at the hotel, located opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, offering a scenic and tranquil setting surrounded by villages, forests, and river breezes—a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a short boat trip through the Sundarban Bird Jungle and take in the breathtaking sunset views. Return to the hotel by 6:00 PM.
Evening Activities:
7:00 PM: Experience a local folk dance performance, accompanied by complimentary snacks and tea/coffee.
8:00 PM: Bonfire and music (available during the winter season only).
Night:
10:00 PM: Dinner at the hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Trip Booking
DAY 2
8:00 AM: Start the morning with a Sundarban Delta Safari by boat.
8:30 AM: Begin the jungle safari guided by our government tourist guide at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve.
9:30 AM: Experience a thrilling boat safari through various rivers, islands, and small creeks, covering Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Khonakhali, Choragaji, Deualvarani, Sarakkhali 1 or 2, Gazikhali, Dobanki, and the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Look out for animals like spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, different types of birds, and possibly the Royal Bengal Tiger (if you’re lucky).
12:30 PM: Visit the Do-Banki Tiger Reserve area and watchtower. The 896-meter canopy walk at Do-Banki offers an opportunity to view wildlife from a netted enclosure.
1:30 PM: Visit Panchamukhni, the 5-river junction.
5:00 PM: After the thrilling Sundarban National Park safari, reach Pakhiralay.
10:00 PM: Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3
9:30 AM: After breakfast, embark on a local village walk for a couple of hours. Visit historic sites such as:
- Hamilton Bungalow
- Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow
Experience the charm of the local culture and heritage.
Transfer: After the village walk, board the boat for a transfer to your car and begin the journey back to Kolkata.
Lunch: Enjoy lunch on the way during the return journey.
4:00 – 5:00 PM: Arrive back in Kolkata.
